Artist Statement

 

For my Dry point Etching the picture I choose to do was my sisters cat, he is one of my favorite cats and this picture is the best one because he looks absolutely fabulous in it. I had to add some things to the background because there wasn't anything there at first. My favorite things about it is how I did the fur. I always have a hard time drawing fur but I think I did a good job on this one. One things I don't like about it is the eyes, I feel like I could have done better when it came to the eyes, I also thing I could have done better on the nose to.
